Kusikuy was born from the dream of Chef Néstor, who wanted to bring the vibrant flavors, colors, and culture of his beloved Peru to the heart of Brighton. After years of working as a chef around the world, with a touch of nostalgia for his homeland and a deep affection for the UK, Néstor finally fulfilled his dream by opening the city’s first and only Peruvian restaurant.

This exciting journey wouldn’t have been possible without the support and enthusiasm of his team, who walked every step of the way alongside him. Together, they blended authentic ingredients from Peru with the freshness of local produce, combining passion and expertise in Peru’s incredible culinary tradition.

The result? An experience that has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of so many. Seeing our guests smile, light up with the colors, savor the dishes – and sometimes even dance to the rhythm of a cumbia – is our greatest reward.
